Located in Sierra Vista, Arizona, Intelligence, Communications and Engineering, Inc. (ICE) began operations in 2007. The acronym “ICE” was chosen to honor its founders’ careers in the US military. It also embodies their core values – Integrity, Commitment, Excellence – into everything the company does.
ICE, Inc. supports customer requirements across the globe, executing in both CONUS and OCONUS environments. We support our customers in navigating the dynamic and rapidly evolving military and national security climates through: Intelligence - the knowledge to understand and solve complex problems. To honor its origins as a small business, ICE, Inc. created an advocacy program that mentors emerging companies and builds rewarding and lasting partnerships. ICE Technology Solutions, LLC, a subsidiary of ICE, Inc., provides computer, network, and web services to customers and local businesses throughout Cochise County.
ICE Inc. was founded in 2006 in Sierra Vista, AZ, outside of the US Army's Fort Huachuca, AZ. Fort Huachuca is headquarters of the Intelligence Center of Excellence for the United States Army. It is also the home of the African American soldier. The first African American troops to arrive at Fort Huachuca were the Buffalo Soldiers in the 1890s — the 9th and 10th Cavalries. The soldiers distinguished themselves in the Spanish American War and the charge up San Juan Hill. They were part of the Punitive Expedition into Mexico, and were sent to Camp Naco, Camp Little, and other locations in Arizona to guard the border during the Mexican Revolution. ICE Inc. is proud to be a minority-owned business and honors its ties to the Fort Huachuca area.
